This evaluation mission was mandated by the Danish Institute for Human Rights and was conducted between January and May 2024. It focused on the first phase of the project ‘Transition Redevable pour la Société Tunisienne (TRUST)’, implemented by a consortium of organizations working on human rights and public transparency. It involved analyzing the project’s progress, examining changes in the institutional context and in Tunisia’s accountability system, and identifying the levers that could strengthen the State’s responsibility toward citizens. The mission also helped extract the key lessons from this first phase and propose directions for the next stage of the project.
