DREAM – Development of a Social Exclusion Barometer

4 August 2026
Founded in 1983, COSPE is a secular, non-profit international cooperation organisation. We work in 24 countries alongside civil society organisations and local communities to promote social justice and peace, with a particular focus on supporting marginalised and discriminated groups in their pursuit of social inclusion, human rights, and democracy.

This mission, mandated by COSPE Italy and Mawjoudin, aimed to develop a social exclusion barometer for LGBTQI+ people in Tunisia through a mixed-methods study combining quantitative and qualitative research. The study documented the different forms of exclusion and discrimination experienced by LGBTQI+ people across key areas of social, economic, and public life.
