20 September 2023
A network representing 68 human rights organizations active in 30 countries. It was founded in 1997, following the 1995 Barcelona Declaration, by civil society organizations dedicated to promoting human rights and democracy within the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership.

This mission was mandated by Euromed Rights and has started in August 2022 as part of the TRUST project to strengthen the accountability of the Tunisian state by supporting independent public institutions. The project is implemented by a “human rights and accountability” consortium including the Danish Institute for Human Rights, EuroMed Rights, Dignity and KADEM.

This mission aims to identify CSOs that could potentially engage in a partnership approach with the Independent Bodies throughout Tunisia.
