This mission was conducted on behalf of the Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship (TCSE) within the framework of MedTown Project “-Co-producing social policies with Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) actors to fight poverty, inequality and social exclusion » between August 2022 to June 2023.
The objective of the mission is providing technical support for the Demonstrative Action in Tunisia, the collection and analysis of data and the development of policy recommendations at local and national level.
Within the mission, a mapping of local stakeholders, national research community and the beneficiaries was conducted in the Medina of Tunis to collect their feedback and improve the impacts of the Demonstrative Action.
More specifically, the research team have conducted a preliminary analysis of the Demonstrative Action (DA) Scheme in Tunisia (mapping of actors, legal analysis…), was responsible for data collection, analysis of findings and policy recommendations for the Demonstrative action in Tunisia. The mission also included providing technical support on the implementation of the DA in Tunisia and participation in coordination meetings with TCSE team.
