Better undestanding of the Inkyfada platform readership and establishment of a development strategy

Al Khatt is a Tunisian non-profit NGO founded in 2013, which aims to be a laboratory of ideas and a space for reflection on the future of journalism.

This mission was mandated by Al Khatt organisation and aimed to analyse the Inkyfada platform users’ behaviour in order to :

Understand their specific needs; identify the expectations of Inkyfada’s partner associations, and contribute to the strategic redesign process of Inkyfada.

These objectives were complemented by specific objectives, which were formulated and measured as follows:

– Categorise and analyse the behaviour of each users cohort of the Inkyfada platform (in Tunisia and abroad);

– Identify the needs and expectations of each type of users;

– Examine the possibility and the opportunity of monetising some of Inkyfada’s services;

– Evaluate Inkyfada’s partnership with partner and potential partner civil society organizations

– Evaluate Inkyfada’s partnership with partner and potential partner civil society organisations;

– Analyse Inkyfada’s relations with other associative media (the positioning);

– To feed the strategic reflection process.
