This study was mandated by UNFPA and has been conducted from March 2021 to May 2021. It aimed to study the situation of migrant/refugee/asylum seekers belonging to the LGBTQI+ community in order to understand their migratory journey, the factors that pushed them to leave their countries and choose Tunisia; to better understand the specific vulnerabilities of the LGBTQI+ migrant and refugee community in Tunisia and to collect the expectations, needs and aspirations of LGBTIQ+ migrant/refugee individuals.
